[sdiy] Upgrading KiCad to v5.x

I would recommend getting on with it.

I have had issues with libraries in old projects not translating well (e.g.
the library used to be "Capacitors_ThroughHole" but now is "Capacitors_THT"
so it couldn't find the symbols until I dinked with the library settings),
but aside from that it has been an overall improvement.
