Don't know if you're talking about the CA3280/2164s or CA3046/CA3096s.
But in general I'd stay away from the discrete and use the 3280 and 2164 for
most stuff. If I wanted to walk on the wild side I'd use the 3046/3096. In
general I'm not a big fan of creating vintage copy modules so I'd stay away
from discrete. I do like vintage architectures and those I would work with.
