Yes, I saw that... and it kind of makes you wonder what they refer to. It's
not like it's unreadable when upright, and it's not likely that other text
on panels around the display are oblique.

The dot might be part of the explanation, perhaps.
But that colon would be quite malformed with its upper dot at the very top.
I've never seen such a time display colon. :-)
