For completeness, here's two more "audio spectrum analyzer" software
packages that have been around a while. I've downloaded the install
files for these but never got around to using them - the spectrum
functions in audio editors such as Cool Edit (named Adobe Audition
since 2003) and Audacity (okay, those are two MORE analyzer sources -
there was also Goldwave from a few short decades ago, and it still
exists!) have been 'good enough' for my uses.
