Ah, I gave up on the DIY Stompbox groups because of the sheer level of
batshittery that people display when they decide they can hear the
difference between two different batches of the same opamp.

I suspect massive quanities of cocaine must be involved, since they seem
to namecheck particular famous guitarists who only use particular makes
of batteries in their particular batch of a particular pedal, presumably
because they're so coked off their tits they can hear the individual
electrons moving around in the wires.
