But in fact you are right with the SH-101, it uses lin potentiometers
for the waveform mixer. And especially there is no economical or
technical reason, why Roland did not use log potentiometers in the
mixer. For instance the potentiometers for the LFO-amount at the VCO and
at the VCF _are_ 100k log sliders. So they had the right (log) parts in
the drawer, but used the linear ones for the mixer - assumingly on purpose.
