Also if using the desktop web version of gmail, just smash 'a' instead of
'r' to reply.
(though then it may or may not be good manners to trim the recipients
[other than, sometimes, the author of the post I'm actually replying to]? I
usually do, on the assumption that I'm not the only one with a mail filter
capturing anything with one of my many email addresses in the To: or Cc:
headers)
Gmail is pretty good but I still wish for a 'magically divine my intent'
keyboard shortcut
