[sdiy] MIDI parser

fwiw, i'm using 4.2 of the Arduino MIDI library by Francois Best, copyright
MIT 2015. never had any issues with it.

i did write my own at one point, and i remember a fun thread here about how
to make parsing efficient. but then i asked myself why i was bothering...
