[sdiy] Vector Slit-N-Wrap

Hello everyone. Hope you are all well.
So quick question.
I have several projects to return to, and the digital part is wire-wrapped.
I have been using my OK manual tool with #30 wire. You know, the strip,
wrap, measure, strip, wrap.
Now I have a chance to pick up this Vector Slit-N-Wrap tool with two spools
of #28 (bigger) wire.
I have a spool of this wire already in green, 50 foot roll and thought I'd
give it a go.
This stuff is hard to strip and very brittle with non-Vector tools, -breaks
after 2-3 turns on wrap post.
Now I know this is not the way it is supposed to be used , with standard
wrap tool.
Has anybody here had any experience with the Vector system?
Any comments welcome,
Cheers,
Tony K
