Hi Girts,
What is the longer term plan of Alfa on the AS33xx IC's reissues anyway? Is this basically just an interest check or will they go ahead with the reissue?
Are they moving to specialised IC's? Can imagine it is tough for a smaller fab these days, where they probably do not have the means to introduce the latest and greatest processes.
Anywho, SMT would be nice so one can at least shrink the circuitry (while hopefully easily DIY-able, SOIC is fine).

Didn't apply for samples myself yet as I do not have a project in mind yet, and plenty of other projects in the pipeline, but if it helps the case.... :-)
