Totally agree!
It's not particualry exciting to use 33xx in standard/datasheet connection. Let's see who will come up with something totally out of the box! :)

Inline with what you are saying Tom, I think it's time for new form factors as well. Why do all synths need to be in a box full of knobs and buttons, with keys in the front?

If a non-branded wholesale board became available  ( for the 3320 for example ) that could be integrated into a new design and not be a diy euro-rack module etc, that would be nice as well.
