[sdiy] pros and cons of SMT in DIY

Because I didn't have that on hand, still don't. And soldering those
wires seemed like an easy task when my eyesight was good. I just wanted
to have it working now, now, now!
Today I'd simply made proper PCB design and waited for the board to arrive.
