Does anyone know if there is a way of “transplanting” a track from a new, similar taper 30 mm travel type slide pot? 
The base of the pot with the tracks on it comes apart without much difficulty from the housing, and the fine copper tines of the wiper mechanism could, with care, be re-fashioned to some degree.

These same pots are used in other Roland gear of that vintage such as the SH-2.
