… and I've seen vintage Sequential Circuits and Oberheim that were reworked at the factory to fix PCB errors, and those wires lasted for decades. Not sure whether it was magnet wire, wire-wrap wire, or something else, but solid core wire inside a chassis is not going to move very much. If it might move, then reworkers typically glue down pieces until it's stationary.
