Sorry if my post was taken as a judgement, I was actually trying to
say he seems young and unaware of copyright law even on "free" stuff
and most likely wasn't deliberately trying to break the law. I agree
that all that it should take is a polite email to ask him to stop
sharing the copyrighted content.

Bernie: have you thought about providing all the free content you are
happy to as a single archive yourself? You could use this as an
opportunity to attract people to your web page, and make them click on
a download button to get the material (with a quick note saying you
are the copyright owner and they are not allowed to share the material
themselves). You can do this in such a way that there is no public url
that people could leach from.
