[sdiy] Roland CR-8000 drum voices

I like the quirky high-conga sound of the CR-8000 too, because it's quite
different to that of other Roland analogue drum machines. Even if it does
sound like someone tapping a yoghurt pot with a pen!

Ah! I had forgotten about that. This was over two years ago (obviously a few
things got in the way of completing this project!).
I think I must have made some audio probe recordings at different parts of
the circuit. I think the snare is made up of two bridged-T oscillators plus
some noise, but one of those oscillators is mixed so low you would hardly
know it was there. I don’t recall there being a trim pot on this part of the
circuit so Roland’s engineers must have had their reasons for putting it
there...
