Why PDF is a good idea?
For me, I'd love to read electronotes, but I'm not really keen on 3 big
boxes of paper.
it takes up too much space, is impractical, shipping it to the other
side of the world sounds unnecessary.
In paper form I know it will sit somewhere collecting dust.
I think even all music CDs I bought in the last 10 years where directly
ripped to mp3 and the physical media was not touched ever again.
I love having all my books as e-books, just because I don't have to sift
through pages anymore and have my whole house full of book shelves.
text does not even have to be OCR'd. It would already be great for me to
have just image scans with a proper name to use the file explorer search
to find a paper about a specific topic.
money is not the problem for me, it's the anachronistic format and all
the hassle that comes with so much paper that is holding me back.
just my 2 cents
