The CoolAudio V3205 is a clone of the MN3205 not the MN3005, so the comparison with the higher voltage chips is definitely not fair. That said, CoolAudio dropped the S/N spec to 60dB rather than the 67dB of the original, so by their own measures, it's more noisy. For reference, the MN3005 quoted 75dB.
The other significant parameter for me beyond S/N is the clock input capacitance, since this is (usually) the limiting factor pin how fast you can drive the delay line. For both the V3205 and the MN3205, the quoted figure is 2800pF, and this is the same as the higher voltage chips.
