Thanks all, this has been very helpful.
The image I posted initially was simply the only picture I could find that looked at all like the thing I was trying to find. The crimped ends aren't important to me.
The one I had in mind was the ones that Paul linked to, which I knew about because we used to use them at work. However, the price of them makes them a poor option. Scott's mouser link is a better bet price wise for something that does the same job simpler, but as John said, perhaps I'd be better rethinking it a bit and doing it with 0.1" M/F headers.
