[sdiy] Odp: Coloured LEDs

Haven't looked at them for a while but AFAIR there was something covering the diode die. The body/lens is clear but that little reflector where actual semiconductor is placed, was totally covered with opaque stuff. Kinda like white LEDs. So I guess it's just the same as with whites, one basic color emiting from the diode is stimulating mystery chemicals that produce fuzzy spectrum of other wavelengths.
