Hmm, with that CODEC, it makes me wonder why there aren't 12 outputs instead of 8. Looks like the AK4618 can handle 6 stereo outputs or 12 mono outputs. Maybe the SAM70 can't handle the digital audio stream rate with more than 8 channels.
