Hello,
I am looking for someone who has experience in overhauling /
refurbishing the rockerswitches from old Roland string machines, like
the VP-330, RS-101/202/505 or RS-09.
See http://www.florian-anwander.de/roland_rs505/
In my RS-505 the switches tend to make shakey contact. I tried to open
them, but it is not possible to get to the switching contacts themselves.
I drilled small holes in the bottom plate and sprayed contact spray
inside (see last picture), but it did help only a little. I assume, that
the contact rocker inside is bent flat and the only help might be
rebending it again.
Did anyone of you ever succeed in disassembling those switches completely?
Regards
Florian
