The saleae Logic 4 has 1 analog input and costs $109, connects to a computer via USB 2, and has recording software with trigger capabilities. If you need more than one analog input, the Logic 8 has 8 inputs and is $219. I've only used the digital inputs for triggering, so I can't say for certain whether you could automate the capture of the event that you're trying to catch. The software certainly records analog values, though, so you can scroll through the entire recording looking for the point in time that you're interested in catching.
