Hi Justin,

On a totally alternative route, you could have a look at the expert sleepers ES modules. They allow interfacing of DC to AC soundcard inputs. They multiply the DC with a carrier and later remove that by rectification and filtering. This works well up to a certain frequency, but if you're mostly interested in the DC or slow drifts below audio rate, it might be a cheap solution.
