First thing that comes in mind is logging benchtop multimeter. It saves measurements in CSV file, that goes straight to Excel. Obviously you would have came up with the same idea if you had one already. Well, there are also cheaper handheld meters with logging. Any kind of DIY logger will take time to make, and time is priceless, besides it's good to have nice multimeter anyway.
