[sdiy] IDC, Pin Headers, Ribbon Wire: Where to start?

Important to make sure you order compatible styles, euro and many other
designs use headers with 2.54mm (0.1") spacing.  Also some headers have
long pins and will not allow an IDC connector to fully seat.
