The 2164 was never designed for analogue computing applications in
mind, so log conformity over a wide range was never a design goal.
It's really four SSM2018 Frey cells hard-wired in VCA mode with the
I-to-V converters chopped off.

Is that kind of information public knowledge?  Does that figure
include the various versions of those modules?
