I almost included it on the Sub-oscillator on my PIC VCDO (used in the Frequency Central Waverider module) but in the end, I ran out of ADC inputs, so the SubOsc is set for a certain amount of beating with the main oscillator. There's a variable for it in the code though, and the code that made it adjustable was just commented out.
I think linear detune is an excellent feature, and it's so easy to add to digital oscillators that I'd always put it in if I could.
