[sdiy] Switch from Eagle to Altium Circuit Studio

I'm an Eagle user who's sticking to my pre-Autodesk install, for the
time being. I agree that Eagle is not perfect, but I'm staying with
what I'm used to for now. Note that their quoted price of $780 per
year is based on the monthly price of Eagle Premium. If you knew you
needed the features of Premium long term, you would be using the
yearly price and pay $500 for a year. And for most people in this
group, I'm guessing Eagle's standard license would do (4 signal
layers, and 160 cm2 board area, $100/year). Even the free version
might do. I also think over time, Autodesk will fix some of the quirks
with Eagle.

But if you're looking to get rid of Eagle, my advice would be to shop
around. Almost every vendor has a free trial version these days. You
could also look at a FOSS alternative like KiCAD. In the end, look for
the features YOU need, and the GUI that YOU are comfortable with. Do
you need to make 16 layer boards? Do you need differential pair
routing? If not, those are non-features to you.
