[sdiy] Yamaha synth and organ coloured paddle switches

So, I found the organ on the curb in my neighborhood during "junk day" which
is when people can put crap that they don't want on the curb, and others
have a weekend to go around looking for treasures, and then the garbage guys
collect it all on the following Tuesday morning.
My whole adventure in synth DIY started when I found an old Farfisa
Crappolino on the curb about 10 years ago.
I can't remember what the model number of the Yamaha was -- it may have been
a D-65 or something like that. The model number was on a plaque on the
back, which was all thrown away (I saw it getting crushed -- a big wooden
organ case is absolutely no match whatsoever for a garbage-crushing truck).
I just saved the keyboards, all the panels and associated hardware, and all
the PCBs and wiring (there was about 15 pounds of wire in that thing!). I'm
thinking that maybe I'll do some CS-80-inspired modules and use those TVRs
on the panels. I got about 30 of them from the organ. It also had tons of
push buttons and those standard organ toggle thingies (big coloured and
engraved switches), and a bunch of pretty nice sliders. It would be great
to figure out some cool stuff to do with all of it. For now, however, it is
sitting with my other discombobulated organ parts in my garage (I have two
complete organ panels and manuals out there).
