is it "not very good" meaning "the output will be filled with static and
you can't hear the note" or "the waveform isn't a perfect sine wave and
will be fuzzy"? Because a little character I can deal with.

In what I'm doing it only needs to work for one frequency and the other 90
can work on the rest of the notes. I'm not opposed to sitting with a
notebook and a calculator and crunching some numbers, it'll take me back to
high school math classes :)
