I like the way you think sir.
However, I am not so sure this internet generation would welcome this.
We lost a major electronics retailer in our town I used to frequent since I
was 16 years old.
I missed the friendly staff and the instant gratification factor. This was
my first stop after work on Friday.
Pick up my parts and be building that evening. Along with all these groovy
impulse items.
I plan on a drive to Ottawa's Active to pick up my chemicals and odds and
ends.
This idea and a revival of the hobby spirit might be feasible.
Sad , my nephew is now 18 and has no interests or hobbies, outside his
games and smart phone.
No magazines, no electronics stores (just one left), ..it's very sad.
His uncle has tried to get him interested, so now he's interested in
Computer Science.
There is hope after all ;)
