Orvac electronics is still around in SoCal. Better for some electronic
parts like solder tips, copper clad, simple switches, and enclosures... Not
very good for passives or active electronics parts.
All Electronics in Van Nuys, which I haven't been to yet have all sorts of
parts. My synth tech used to recommend it.
Fry's used to have an electronics parts section, but it's not really
stocked anymore just like Radio Shack.
