[sdiy] Advice?: Powering up a vintage keyboard after several years

I recall "Synthesizer Dave" on YouTube saying it's best to power them on
for a little while, then off, then on a little longer the next day, then
off, and building up to leaving them on for long periods etc.
Can't remember which video, but I dunno, I assume he knows what he's
talking about.
