[sdiy] Akai AX80 CEM3372 replacement

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there's any problems putting Rev.D CEM3372's in an Akai AX80?

I wouldn't expect so, but the service manual mentions Rev.B and Rev.C chips and suggests that voltages might be slightly different between them. They also left themselves a box free to specify a different firmware for Rev.C, but it doesn't look like it happened (unless anyone knows different?). However, I do know that they built units with the Rev.C chips.
