Yes, 33250A, but same range.  Nice generators, but marked discontinued as of 
1st Dec 2016!

Betcha those were 33220 signal generators. We had a bunch at work and
they needed the encoder replaced too.

I'm doing this from memory but I think it's right. I sort of remember
them selling an encoder that had problems and you had to take them apart
and rebuild them to get them to work. There were a bunch of comments in
the review/comment section for the product. Took a look at their web
site and didn't see anything with this info but this was quite a while
ago and it could of been removed. Wonder if this might be from the bad
ones they were selling.
