[sdiy] Oscilloscope on a Budget

Just get this guy, under 20 bucks! I assembled one with a student,
surprising how decent it is, certainly good enough for your immediate
diy needs, and it's diy itself!  Comes on the slow boat though, be
prepared to wait for it :)
