Banana Plugs are springy while banana Jacks are solid. I have seen banana
plugs in 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 4mm shielded, and a giant size.

Pin Plugs are solid while pin Jacks are springy. I first saw pin plugs on
2000 ohm headphones.
