[sdiy] Roland R8 drum machine retrieving presets to a PC using MIDI sysex (???)

Hi list,

A friend of mine have a Roland R8 drum machine and he wants to save all 
the
user made presets on a PC using MIDI sysex.
So far that's the only way I found it could be done..
The machine has 2 memory cards slots ROM and RAM separately.
He wants to change the memory card to another for tests
but he says he will loose its actual presets doing so.
What way or type of PC program should I use to retrieve
all it's inner preset parameters to not loose them ?
I have MIDI-OX MIDI utility installed on my Win8.1 PC..
Can I use this program to do that job and if so how to proceed ?
