There is no reason not to use MKT.

Some people on the net already build amps with MKT capacitors, and they 
work just fine. No issues but no advantages either.

Since you've mentioned leakage between gain stages and low ESR 
capacitors: Most supply voltage strings are built from several chained 
RC low-pass filters. The resistor is usually in the range of about 1k.

This resistor will always be in series with your capacitor, so picking a 
low ESR type that has a few Ohms less than a cheap cap will not make any 
difference. The resistance is completely dominated by the filter resistor.

For electrolytics in tube-amps I use capacitors from F+T exclusively. 
They are high quality, worth their price and easy to order online within 
Europe. Don't know about the rest of the world though. It's a small
