Great, seems also that you can use these snippets together with HAL:
(from stm32f0xx.h)

#if defined (USE_HAL_DRIVER)
 #include "stm32f0xx_hal.h"
#endif /* USE_HAL_DRIVER */

No I2S examples though, guess the SPI examples can be used with some
modifications.

Only for F0 and F1 so far.
