[sdiy] Minimoog Query - Decay pots

Thanks Keith.

Curious as the inside of the synth seemed very tidy [oh, it was
apparently owned by Benny Hill] - I did check a few other pots for
crackles (ie. to get an idea if it could be a more general issue) but
certainly volume and cutoff appeared to be great.

Yeah, if the issue comes back then we'll try taking them apart, cleaning
and lubricating - but there wasn't time today.

Here's a pic - http://bugbrand.co.uk/images/MinimoogDcyPot.jpg

I've never had any time with a Minimoog before, nor opened one - lovely
build quality!

If they are new they shouldn't have worn out so you may have cleaned the tracks by giving them a few turns. Had to replace VCO level and filter cutoff pots in a friend fairly beat up mini and originals weren't easy to find. The pots can be taken apart
