[sdiy] Ways for innovation

One of the last true innovations in music making in my opinion is the
decoupled LED and grid interface. Created by Monome. Before that it was the
MPC with pads triggering samples. Now the buttons could give you interface
feedback (LEDs) separate from the actions. Now how many companies have
knock-off versions of this device for computer control and music making?

The MatrixBrute is an extension of this idea, instead of a pin matrix or
patch cables now it's all on a low resolution pixel screen.
