So the point being that "toy" instruments

1) have uses to many people
2) haven't died from planned obsolescence.

And I'd argue that this new generation is less "toy" than the SK-1....

They're not going to be to everyone's taste, and I somewhat agree with
those who find 4 voice polyphony limiting, but that doesn't mean that
they're worthless.
