[sdiy] passive ring modulator transformers

I guess they would both be too close to perfect multiplication, and therefore sound too clean compared to all the distortion you get when using a real diode ring modulator.
Was using Minicircuits ADE-1 last year for a work project. A diode ring modulator complete with diodes and two transformers encapsulated in a tiny plastic package about 6x4x5mm! It's amazing how small these things can be made when the frequency goes up into the MHz region...
