[sdiy] XY controller build?

Hello all, And thanx for the info on converting a trs-80 game joystick
to something I can use with my synth. Just wanted to let you know that
if anyone does this,the trs-80 deluxe joystick has a built in feature
that allows one to release the spring return to center on the underside
of the controller.
 The modifications to make it work are then pretty trivial. AND it works
great! Now, I can make cool sounds while I look like I am playing
asteroids. Joe Frey.
