Buy your tranines in strips, neighboring trannies from the same strip
nowadays come extremely close to matched.  Ian's method is highly
recommended, but if you're like me and not so OCD about it, you can
just use your DMM's Vbe function.  I know it's not supposed to be the
ideal method, but all 6 of my diy VCOs are tracking perfectly despite
my lazyness :)
