I always thought that sort was a bit toy-like --- but maybe I haven't
tried the true Alps ones and they're better than the generic ones.
Having had a really hard time sourcing decent/affordable/available parts
5+ years ago [I did find a stash of other Alps ones which were OK, but
hard to get more]
For nice quality, I finally found:

The MX-1711K2R type seems very nice!
You have to deal direct - I've only had sample quantities (5 pieces) so
far, but they're good to deal with direct.
