Hi Tom,
thank you. That was not easy actually. These dsPic do not have as
much power as the STM32F3 we used in latest Waldorf projects.
They have also no floating point support. Doing audio with 16bit
processors is not the best and I could find few (but critical) uses
for the DSP extension of the dsPic. It dramatically speeds up the
mixing stage and the LFO calculation but that's basically it.
The only advantage of these chips is assembly set is easy to remember,
execution time is 100% predictable and overall architecture is simpler
compared to STM32. I love both of them.
