The MAX11300 is quite impressive. I like the fact that is has its own GUI software for design. Check out these video https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/design/videos.html/vd_3706719587001 Sincerely,

(just noticed I replied off-list, replying to the list is not the default?)

You could inject your own precision supply to VDDA after removing R1.
Check the Axoloti schematics and STM32F427 datasheet for details.
Still STM32F4 is not exactly famous for low noise ADC.
Has anybody developed a generic CV I/O board for use with digital
beasties?
One option perhaps is the MAX11300, there is a cheap eval kit for it : MAX11300PMB1
less than 99 channels, but still 20, and every port can be adc, dac, digital in or digital out...
I haven't tried it or developed a specific object for it.
Has anyone used MAX11300 in a eurorack context?
Though it sounds like, at least at the moment, the axoloti platform
lacks the software 'hooks' to talk SPI to an interface. Aaaargh.
Not true, you'll find SPI master examples in the community forum.
Very interesting platform, even though it's a bit of a 'diamond
in the rough'....
Thanks!
Diamonds are forever :)
